• Conbextra HS: Maximum ratio of 2:1 grout to aggregate by weight
• Conbextra HES: Maximum ratio of 2:1 grout to aggregate by weight
• Conbextra UW: Maximum 10kg of aggregate per 20kg bag of Conbextra UW

Epoxy-Based Grouts

• Conbextra EP120 Plus: Up to 10kg per 14-litre kit (reduces costs while maintaining performance)
• Conbextra EP65 Plus: Up to 10kg per 14-litre kit (bulks out grout while reducing exothermic heat)
• Conbextra EP935: Maximum ratio of 2:1 grout to aggregate by weight

Mixing Instructions

For Cement-Based Grouts

1. Measure selected water content accurately into the mixer
2. Slowly add grout contents and mix continuously for 3 minutes, ensuring smooth, even consistency
3. Slowly add Conbextra Grout Aggregate to mixed grout
4. Mix for a further 2 minutes
5. Important: Do not exceed the top end water content stated on the Technical Data Sheet

For Epoxy-Based Grouts

1. Mix hardener slowly into the base using a slow-speed heavy-duty mixer
2. Mix at 350 to 400 RPM until uniform mix is obtained
3. Slowly add Conbextra Grout Aggregate to mixed grout
4. Mix for a further 2 minutes
5. Caution: Allow mixed product to settle and expel air bubbles before placing, as air may be entrained when adding aggregate to epoxy-based grouts

Yield Information

Cement-Based Grouts

• Addition Rate: Up to 10kg per 20kg of Conbextra Grout
• Typical Yield Increase: Approximately 4 litres per 10kg of aggregate added

Epoxy-Based Grouts

• Addition Rate: Up to 10kg per 14-litre kit of Conbextra EP65 Plus (as example)
• Typical Yield Increase: Approximately 4 litres per 10kg of aggregate added

Limitations

The addition of aggregate to grout will reduce the flow characteristics of the product. If high flow performance is required, it is not recommended that aggregate be added.
