Application and Mixing Specifications
Integration with Nitoflor PU600
When using the 18.1kg Nitoflor PU600 kit, the mixing procedure involves:
- Shake Nitoflor PU600/PU200 Part A Base (2.6kg) to redisperse any settlement
- Add the 300g Nitoflor PU Colour Pigment to the Part A Base
- Mix using a heavy-duty mixer fitted with a helical mixer head until uniform colour is achieved
- Add the hardener and fillers according to specification
For the larger 72.4kg kit, a 1.2kg Nitoflor PU Colour Pigment is utilized following the same color integration principle.
Integration with Nitoflor PU200
Similarly, when applying Nitoflor PU200 as a top coat:
- Stir Nitoflor PU600/PU200 Part A Base (2.6kg) to redisperse settlement
- Pour the base into a suitable container and add Nitoflor PU200 Part C Fillers
- Add one 300g Nitoflor PU Colour Pigment and continue mixing until uniform color is achieved
- Add Nitoflor PU600/PU200 Part B Hardener (2.8kg) and mix for a further 2 minutes

Important Limitations
Color Fastness: Nitoflor PU600 and Nitoflor PU200 are not color fast and may exhibit a yellowing effect over time. Color change depends on UV light and heat levels present, and the rate of change cannot be predicted. This effect is more noticeable in light colors and blues but does not compromise the product's performance or chemical resistance.
Batch Number Management
To ensure uniform color throughout an application area, use only components with identical batch numbers in the same application area, or contact Fosroc for specific advice on color matching across multiple batches.
