Product Overview

Nitobond AR is a single component acrylic polymer emulsion curing membrane and bonding agent manufactured by Fosroc International Limited. It is specifically designed as a curing compound for most Renderoc repair products and can also serve as a bonding agent for other construction materials.

• Alternative to Concure A99 - Serves as an alternative curing compound for finished Guncrete E

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

All surfaces should be clean and free from dust and contamination prior to application.

Application Method

Nitobond AR is sprayed onto the surface of the finished mortar in a continuous film. For optimal results:

• Large areas should be cured as trowelling progresses, processing approximately 0.5 m² at a time without waiting for completion of the entire area
• In fast drying conditions, supplementary curing with polythene sheeting (taped down at the edges) must be used
• In cold conditions, the finished repair must be protected from freezing

Cleaning

All equipment should be washed with clean water immediately after use.

Coverage Rate

Nitobond AR provides coverage of 6 - 8 m²/litre, making it economical for large-scale applications.

Storage Requirements

• Store in dry conditions between 5°C to 25°C
• Keep in original unopened packaging
• Protect from frost

Important Limitations

Nitobond AR has specific restrictions on use:

• Do not use when temperature is below 5°C and falling
• Do not use to cure certain Renderoc products - Specifically, Nitobond AR should not be used to cure Renderoc HB40 Plus, Renderoc HB70 Plus, or Renderoc LA55 Plus. For these products, use Concure A99 curing compound instead
