The Colour Pots are manufactured as solvent-free coloured pigments, making them environmentally friendly and safe for worker handling during application. The pigments are formulated to disperse rapidly and uniformly into neutral epoxy base components.

Design Criteria for FC150 HP/SL Systems

The quantity of colour pots required depends on the base product size:

For 16 litre special colour kits prepared to order, 2 x 700g Nitoflor Colour Pots must be added to the base component.

Mixing Procedure

Step 1: Initial Preparation

• Stir the base and hardener components prior to mixing
• Add the required number of 500g or 700g Nitoflor Colour Pots to the base component

Step 2: Colour Integration

• Mix thoroughly using a low-speed heavy-duty electric drill fitted with a suitable spiral mixer
• Initial mixing period: 1 minute to ensure rapid pigment dispersion

Step 3: Final Mixing

• Add the hardener (and fillers if applicable) component
• Continue mixing for a minimum of 3 minutes at 350-500 rpm once all components are added
• Mix in an efficient manner to ensure no colour pigment streaking is visible
• Scrape the side walls of the mixing vessel with a long-bladed spatula to dislodge any unmixed material
