Application Method
Wet Film Thickness (WFT)
Nitoproof 750 must be applied by roller, trowel, or squeegee to achieve a wet film thickness of not less than 1.5 mm.
For applications requiring compliance to AS4564.1, Nitoproof 750 must be applied as two coats with:
- Minimum WFT of 1.7 mm (coverage of 1.7 litres/m²)
- Resulting minimum DFT of 1.5 mm
Coverage Rate
| Application | Coverage |
|---|---|
| Standard Application | 1.5–1.7 litres/m² (2 coats) |
| Coverage per 15-litre Drum | 8.8–10 m² |
Chemical Resistance
Nitoproof 750 demonstrates excellent chemical resistance to:
- Mild acids and alkalis
- Water-borne salts
- Bio-degradation
- Highly resistant to detergent-based and bleach-based cleaning products
Cure Mechanism
Nitoproof 750 employs moisture-curing technology, meaning it cures through a chemical reaction with atmospheric moisture rather than through solvent evaporation. This provides:
- Irreversible chemical cure that eliminates melting and flow at high temperatures
- Excellent resistance to embrittlement
- Permanently flexible, resilient barrier over a wide temperature range
Root Resistance
Nitoproof 750 has been tested for root resistance to PD CEN/TS 14416:2014 standards and demonstrates no root penetration, making it suitable for applications where root resistance is required.
Curing and Protection
- UV Stability: Nitoproof 750 is NOT UV stable and must be cured for a minimum of 24 hours at 25°C before placing protection
- Tiling Window: Tiling should commence within 5 days of application
- Flood Testing: Prior to placement of protection, surfaces should be flooded to a minimum depth of 50 mm for 24 hours
Supply and Storage
Product Supply
| Product | Size | Product Code |
